Abstract

The steering device automatically converting the movement of the operating piston in the cylinder contains a pipe connecting the steering device and piston with the cylinder compartment. The pipe is opeed and closed by means of the change-over piston and incorporates a compression protection device in the form of a retaining valve. This valve has a valve tappet which operates in conjunction with a selaing gasket and is also connected to the atmosphere. The valve has a spring-loaded sealing-cone. The cylinder (1) and control apparatus (2) form a unit which is pivotally held in a mouting (4) on a construction jig (5) via a jib (3).
