Abstract

Cable drum with automatic winding mechanism, the drum being rotatably located between arms of a frame, comprises two halves. To one drum flange a winding spring is connected, and from this spring the other outer end is fixed to a roller rotatably located in the frame. The two bearing points for the drum body (11) comprise each a ball (21) located on the bearing shaft, and two bearing discs (8, 19) each with a ball-shaped impression (9, 20). The bearing plates (8, 19) and the balls (21) are electrically conductive, and the electrical connections of each current path are connected on the one hand to the fixed bearing disc (8) and on the other hand with a bearing disc (19) rotatable with the drum body (11).
