Abstract
Moulding presses for the manufacture of hot pressed plastic material, esp. gramophone records, has a support for the pressed prod. with a ring surrounding at least the major part of the periphery of the pressed prod., and a certain number of anchoring devices distributed along the exudation zone of excess plastic material for attaching the pressed prod. to the support by the excess material exuding onto it, and solidifying in contact with the anchoring devices. A cutting device can move transversely to the plane the ring of anchoring devices for detaching the pressed prod. in the region of these devices. Economical, rapid manufacture of thin gramophone records of high quality.
