Abstract

The bracket has a body spanning the full gutter width, with clamps at opposite ends gripping its upper edges, while an arm extends from one end of the body for fixing to the wall. The body extends over the open top of the gutter, engaging with its edges from above. The clamp (3) furthest from the wall can be of material normally resistant to bending but bendable by a tool, being permanently fixed to the body. The clamp nearest the wall (8) can be so constructed that after insertion, the trough merely hangs from it by its edge, and it can be of U-section and spring material.
