Abstract

The mechanism transfers the granular or powdery material from a first chamber to a second one at a different pressure, having a top inlet to and a bottom outlet from a cylindrical housing connected to the respective chambers. A coaxial rotor works in the housing, having six or more evenly spaced compartments sealed from each other, communicating freely with inlet or outlet as they come opposite them. In the housing are one or more pairs of diametrally opposite openings communicating with each other via a passage so as to equalise pressure between two compartments on opposite sides of the inlet and not freely communicating with either inlet or outlet.
