Abstract

The bolt is anchored at opposite ends in the inner and outer walls, and has a disc (7) fixed to it for securing insulating material (5) to one of them. There is also a distance piece on the disc for locating the insulating material in relation to the walls, and the disc also serves as a means for turning the bolt. A loose disc can be fitted to the fixed one, in order to secure sheet, plate or cladding material in position. The design allows the insulating material to be mounted in place using the minimum number of components as well as maintaining the correct gap between the walls.
