Abstract
1448221 Capacitors PLESSEY CO Ltd 11 Jan 1974 [16 Jan 1973] 2299/73 Heading H1M A capacitor comprising a ceramic tube 1 bearing inner and outer silver electrode coatings 2, 3 is cooled by passing cooling fluid through a metal duct 5 in thermal contact with and bonded to, as shown, electrode 2, e.g. by means of a soft solder layer 6. Alternatively or additionally the coolant may be supplied through a jacket in contact with electrode 3. The capacitor terminals are constituted by band 4 and end cap 7.
