Abstract

Materials such as metals, stone, wood or plastics are protected by coating with a protective layer of a mixt. of (I) a liq. or dissolved synthetic resin, e. g. polyvinylbutyral, polyvinyl alcohol or vinyl acetate/vinyl chloride copolymer, and (II) glass fibres. The coating provide improved resistance to mechanical damage. The coatings are easily removed when desired.
