Film is shrunk around a pdt. by (a) placing a bag-shaped package around the pdt., (b) sucking away the air at the open side of the package, and (c) moving a shrinking frame, which provides heat, esp. hot air, around the package. Method prevents irregularities, such as air bubbles in the finished package.
