Abstract

Soluble crosslinkable product is formed by reacting in presence of vinyl polymerisation inhibitor and inert atmosphere (a) a polyepoxide having gps. of formula with at least 2 equivs. per mol. of (a) of (b) an anhydride of formula CH2=C(Y)COOOCR' where Y is H, CH3, Cl, Br, CN, R' is H, 1-20C (halogenated) hydrocarbon, R" is H or 1-10C hydrocarbon radical. It has formula:- where n >=2 and Q is residual moiety of polyepoxide.
