Abstract
Pipe element for a heat exchanger, esp. for a liquid sodium-operated steam generator, consisting of one larger pipe and at least one smaller pipe situated over at least a part of its length and with at least a part of its periphery in an external cavity of the larger pipe corresponding to its external shape, in such a way that it can leave the cavity, and further includes means for fixing the pipes together, incorporating the improvement whereby the mutual bond of the pipes consists of an adhesive present between at least a significant part of the two corresponding pipe surfaces such that a satisfactory heat-conducting joint is formed with a considerably lower mechanical strength than that of the pipe wells.
