In the prodn. of synthetic leather, a fleece or fabric is impregnated with a binder mixture which contains a cross-linkable polyacrylate ester and a butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer, pref. in ratio 1:1-3. The product closely resembles natural leather, and is very suitable for shoes.
