Abstract
Sheets of synthetic polymer are made transparent after it has become non-transparent as the result of stretching. The process involves increasing the specific gravity of the film, spec. by submitting it to a pressure dependent on temperature, impregnating it with a plasticiser for the material concerned or, locally, by writing on the film with a pointed object.
