Abstract

A corrosion-resistant coating is prepared from a material contg. in addition to zinc dust and possibly zinc oxide, a hydraulic binding agent. The latter is based on alkali earth silicates and/or aluminates, of particle size 5mu. The vol. ratio of zinc dust: hydraulic binding medium is between 35:65 and 65:35.
