Abstract

The membrane possesses a composition dispersible in water at body temp. of about 10 to 40 wt. % gelatine, about 15 to 40 wt. % of a polyol and about 15 to 45 wt. % water in combination with a spermatocide and one or several accessory additives such as polyvinyl pyrrolidone, polyvinyl alcohol and/or a polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene-block copolymer.
