1-PhO-2-aminoalkanes, racemic and optically active, of general formula (I) and their salts with acids. where R = H, or (1-3C) alkyl R1 = H, Me or Et R11-R6 = the same or different H, or alkyl up to C5, pref. Me or Et. At least one of R11 - R6 being other than H and when R and R4 = Me, at least a third radical is not H. Anticonvulsants with prolonged action, but free from the sedative activity usually associated with this property.
