SELF-SERVICE RECEIPT PRINTING DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a receipt printing system, in particular to a self-service receipt printing device capable of autonomous operation by users through instructions.
At this stage, the printing of receipts and statements of various corporate business of a bank mainly relies on the bank staff to print in advance, and then manually stamp an official seal to complete. All printed receipts need to be stored in a re- ceipt cabinet. Customers can only retrieve the printed receipts stored in the receipt cabinet, and cannot temporarily add or change the content. The receipts can be printed according to the needs of the customer. Due to the limited capacity of the receipt cabinet, as the number of receipts increases, more and more re- ceipt cabinets are needed to store the receipts. At the same time, for manually printed and stamped receipts, there is no other more effective anti-counterfeiting technology to support the anti- counterfeiting of the receipts except for the official seal.
With regards to this, the applicant submitted a patent appli- cation called “a self-service receipt printing system” in October 2009 (application number: 200910307833.1), which is published a receipt printing system that can be self-printed by users, and functions of the system need to be further improved.
The present disclosure mainly solves the problem that a self- service receipt printing system in the prior art has a slow re- sponse speed of network data interaction, takes up a lot of system space, cannot verify the authenticity of a seal on a receipt, can- not read paper check information and other technical problems, and proposes a self-service receipt printing device.
The above-mentioned technical problems of the present disclo-
sure are mainly solved through the following technical solutions:
A self-service receipt printing device includes a computer, wherein the computer is loaded with a self-service receipt print- ing system, and the computer uses two methods of real-time inter- action and transmission and storage in advance to perform data in- teractive and transmission with a remote server; and a printer, connected to the computer, wherein the self-service receipt print- ing system activates the printer to print a content specified by a customer according to a customer instruction.
The technical solutions of the present disclosure can be fur- ther improved. As a preference, print data output by the computer to the printer comprises one or two of information obtained from the remote server in a real-time interactive method, and infor- mation obtained from data transmitted and stored in a local data- base in advance.
As a preference, the computer is connected to: a card reader, configured to insert a magnetic card and read information in the magnetic card; a keyboard, configured to input information into the self-service receipt printing system; a touch screen, config- ured to display print data and query result information, and input the customer instruction and information into the self-service re- ceipt printing system.
As a preference, a system service of the self-service receipt printing system is selectively triggered by one of the magnetic card inserted into the card reader, an account number and a pass- word entered through the keyboard.
As a preference, the computer is further connected with a two-dimensional code reader for reading a two-dimensional barcode on a receipt, and the self-service receipt printing system ex- tracts verification information according to the read two- dimensional barcode, performs data interaction with the remote server, and returns a receipt verification result.
As a preference, the self-service receipt printing system generates printing data of the receipt after receiving a printing instruction from the customer, and extracts part of receipt data information to generate the two-dimensional barcode, and the printing data sent to the printer comprises the receipt data in-
formation and the two-dimensional barcode.
As a preference, the self-service receipt printing system in- cludes a seal printing module for obtaining seal information with dynamic anti-counterfeiting information from the remote server, and generating an electronic seal image with anti-counterfeiting information according to the seal information, and the printing data sent to the printer further comprises the electronic seal im- age.
As a preference, the computer is further connected to a scan- ning device, and the self-service receipt printing system compris- es a check scanning module for collecting text information from a check image obtained by the scanning device and transmitting and storing the text information in a background database.
As a preference, the computer is further connected with a seal verification device for obtaining a seal on the receipt and verifying an authenticity of the seal.
Due to the adoption of the above technical solutions, the present disclosure has the following advantages compared with the prior art:
The self-service receipt printing device involved in the pre- sent disclosure breaks through the traditional receipt business processing method, and turns a passive receipt request into an ac- tive self-service service. The system uses real-time interaction and local database loading to obtain print data without printing receipts in advance, saving a lot of space for storing receipts, and improving the operating speed of the system.
The device changes the traditional manual stamping method in- to the seal information automatically loaded and printed by the system, which effectively improves the processing efficiency of the receipt business and frees the staff from the tedious mechani- cal stamping work.
The system uses two-dimensional coding technology to compress important data information in encrypted receipts, and prints the generated two-dimensional barcodes on the receipts, which improves the anti-counterfeiting ability of the printed receipts.
The seal printed on the receipts adopts optical anti- counterfeiting technology, which hides the dynamic anti-
counterfeiting information in a seal pattern, and is identified and verified by a special seal proofing device, which further im- proves the anti-counterfeiting ability of the printed receipts. In addition, the system is equipped with a self-service seal verifi- cation device, and the user can directly obtain an authenticity verification result of the seal on the self-service device.
The device can directly read the two-dimensional barcode in- formation on the receipts, and the verification of the receipts can be completed without manually inputting the receipt infor- mation.
The system uses the scanning device and cooperates with the check scanning module to obtain the text information of the scanned check, and then stores the text information in the back- ground database through the network. Compared with the traditional check image information, the system has a faster network transmis- sion speed, and at the same time, also saves a lot of storage space of the background database. In addition, the extracted text information of the check can also be used in subsequent opera- tions, such as generating receipt information, which avoids manual input and has higher intelligence.

FIG. 2 is a working flow chart of the present disclosure.
The technical solutions of the present disclosure will be further specifically described below through the embodiments and in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
A self-service receipt printing device includes: a computer, wherein the computer is loaded with a self- service receipt printing system, and the computer uses two methods of real-time interaction and transmission and storage in advance to connect to a remote server and perform data interactive commu- nication transmission with the remote server in a way of asynchro-
nous transmission in real time according to a specified message format and a transmission protocol provided by a bank; wherein message fields include: message header information, message con- tent information, message header and message content format are 5 subject to an internal message communication format of the bank; the system uses Socket technology to connect to the remote server of the bank through a designated IP address and port, the system sends different message information to the remote server according to different service types selected by a customer, and requests the server to return response data information, when the system receives the information returned from the remote server, the sys- tem parses the message data sent by the remote server, and ex- tracts printing data information or other service information in the message; in addition, when the method of real-time data inter- action is adopted, the system receives printing data information or other service information sent by the remote server in the man- ner of asynchronous transmission, which reduces a querying and waiting time of the remote server, reasonably adjusts an idle waiting time of the printer, and improves the overall printing ef- ficiency and corresponding speed of the system.
The present disclosure further includes a printer connected to the computer, wherein the self-service receipt printing system activates the printer to print a content specified by a customer according to a customer instruction, which satisfies printing needs and information query needs of dynamic receipts of the cus- tomer and can quickly respond to customer printing operations, and all kinds of receipts are immediately desirable; a card reader connected to the computer, which is configured to insert a magnetic card and read information in the magnetic card; a two-dimensional code reader connected to the computer, which is configured to read a two-dimensional barcode on a re- ceipt, wherein the self-service receipt printing system extracts verification information according to the read two-dimensional barcode, performs data interaction with the remote server, and re- turns a receipt verification result; a keyboard connected to the computer, which is configured to input information into the self-service receipt printing system, wherein the keyboard is a metal keyboard; a touch screen connected to the computer, which is configured to display print data and query result information, and input the customer instruction and information into the self-service receipt printing system. a scanning device connected to the computer, wherein the self-service receipt printing system includes a check scanning module for collecting text information from a check image obtained by the scanning device and transmitting and storing the text in- formation in a background database; and a seal verification device connected to the computer for ob- taining a seal on the receipt and verifying an authenticity of the seal.
Wherein, the self-service receipt printing system includes a system detection module, as shown in FIG. 1, which is configured to perform system detection after each startup of the printing system. Specifically, the system detection module is configured to detect the operating state of the hardware equipment necessary for an operation of the device. When all the necessary equipment is running normally, the device can enter the service state, when the necessary equipment fails, the system will enter a suspended ser- vice state.
System detection includes:
Network state monitoring: a null data message is sent to the remote server connected to the computer, when the remote server receives the message and determines that the message protocol con- forms to the specific message specification, a response message is returned, when the system detection module receives all the re- sponse messages of the remote server connected to the computer, a determining result that the network state is normal is obtained;
Peripheral state monitoring: peripherals mentioned here main- ly include the printer, the card reader, the two-dimensional code reader, the keyboard, the touch screen, and can also include the scanning device and the seal verification device. The system de- tection module detects whether an interface of the above-mentioned peripherals connected to the computer is with signals, and then makes a determining result of whether the operating state of the above-mentioned peripherals is normal.
When the system detection module determines that the network state and the peripheral status are both normal, the system is switched to a service state, and any one of the detection objects fails, the system is switched to a suspended service state.
The customer can trigger the system service by inserting a magnetic card or entering a customer account number.
In a login mode with magnetic card, after successfully read- ing the magnetic card information, the system waits for the cus- tomer to enter a magnetic card password. If the magnetic card password entered by the customer is correct, the system enters the waiting state for service selection, if the magnetic card password entered by the customer is wrong, the system gives corresponding information, guides the customer to re-enter the password, if the number of incorrect passwords entered by the customer exceeds the maximum fault tolerance count defined by the system or the system does not receive any customer operation instructions within a cer- tain period of time, the system will automatically exit the mag- netic card; in the login mode with a customer account, when the customer confirms that the input account number is correct, the system automatically enters the next interface, waiting for the customer to enter the corresponding account password, if the pass- word is correct, the system enters the waiting state for service selection, if the input password is incorrect, the system gives corresponding information, guides the customer to re-enter the password, if the number of incorrect passwords entered by the cus- tomer exceeds the maximum fault tolerance count defined by the system or the system does not receive any customer operation in- structions within a certain period of time, the system will auto- matically exit.
As shown in FIG. 2, the services provided by the system for the customer include: 1. Print receipt service. After the customer chooses “print receipt service”, the system guides the customer to select a date range of the receipt to be printed. After the customer determines the date range, the system interacts with the remote server or a local database and provides the customer with a preview of each receipt. After the customer confirms that it is correct, the sys- tem sends the printing data to the printer. 2. Reprint receipt service. After the customer chooses “re- print receipt service”, the system guides the customer to select the date range of the receipt to be printed. After the customer determines the date range, the system interacts with the remote server or a local database and provides the customer with a pre- view of each receipt. After the customer confirms that it is cor- rect, the system sends the printing data to the printer. 3. Print statement service. After the customer chooses “print statement service”, the system guides the customer to select the date range of the receipt to be printed. After the customer deter- mines the date range, the system interacts with the remote server or a local database and provides the customer with a preview of each receipt. After the customer confirms that it is correct, the system sends the printing data to the printer.
The printing content of the above three services includes the content of the receipt, the dynamically generated two-dimensional barcode, and the dynamically generated seal. The self-service re- ceipt printing system includes a seal printing module for obtain- ing seal information including dynamic anti-counterfeiting infor- mation from the remote server and generates an electronic seal im- age including the anti-counterfeiting information according to the seal information, and the printing data sent to the printer fur- ther includes the electronic seal image. 4. Account balance inquiry service. After the customer se- lects the “account balance inguiry service’, the system interacts with the remote server and provides visual balance information. 5. Account details inquiry service. After the customer se- lects the “account details inguiry service”, the system interacts with the remote server and provides visual account details infor- mation. 6. Receipt verification service. The receipt verification service includes two aspects: 1, the system uses its equipped two- dimensional barcode reader to automatically read the two- dimensional barcode on the receipt, the verification operation is mainly for checking the validity of the receipt, when the receipt is generated, the remote server will issue a unique verification code for the receipt, the system uses a two-dimensional coding technology to include the verification code information in the two-dimensional barcode information. In this service, the system extracts the verification information in the two-dimensional code and interacts with the remote server and returns the visualized receipt verification result; 2, the seal verification device ob- tains the seal on the receipt, and verifies the authenticity of the seal. 7. Check entry service. The self-service receipt printing system includes a check scanning module for collecting text infor- mation from a check image obtained by the scanning device and transmitting and storing the text information in the background database.
After printing all the receipts or returns the query result of a user, the system enters the waiting state for customer opera- tion, and waits for the customer to continue to select the service type or exit the system.
When the customer selects and enters the service with print- ing function of the self-service receipt printing system (such as print receipt service, reprint receipt service, and print state- ment service), the self-service receipt printing system sends out a warm-up instruction to the printer, and after receiving the warm-up instruction, the printer warms up the toner cartridge, which shortens a home page output time of the printer and improves the overall printing efficiency of the system.
The self-service receipt printing system generates receipt printing data after receiving the printing instruction from the customer, and extracts important information in the receipt data information to generate the two-dimensional barcode. The printing data sent to the printer includes receipt data information, two- dimensional barcode and anti-counterfeiting seal. Herein, the im- portant information in the receipt data information includes a branch number, an account number, a verification code, a printing date, etc. of the self-service device. QR code (quick response code) technology is used to generate the two-dimensional barcode.
The printed receipt includes the two-dimensional barcode, that is, having the function of anti-counterfeiting verification, which can be directly read by the two-dimensional code reader of the device, and the receipt verification can be completed without manually in- putting the receipt information.
The self-service receipt printing system uses optical tech- nology to hide static and dynamic anti-counterfeiting information in the printed seal at the same time to generate a unique anti- counterfeiting electronic seal. The quality of the printed seal meets the requirements of the Ministry of Public Security's in- spection report, which improves the processing efficiency of the receipt business, solves the cumbersome problem of frequent manual stamping of bank receipts, reduces device expenses, and has a characteristic of convenient maintenance at the same time. The an- ti-counterfeiting information in the seal can be authenticated through a special grating filter, and the seal verification module in the system can also be used to self-verify the authenticity of the receipt seal.
In addition, check information can be quickly extracted by the self-service receipt printing system through the equipped check scanning device, converted into digital image information and stored in the background database, which effectively reduces check entry time and improves check business processing efficien- cy.
