Description
Technical field
The present patent application relates to a display stand, in particular to a sunlightblocking article display stand.
Background art
Sunlight-blocking articles include parasols, sun blinds and sun awnings, etc. As outdoor leisure accessories, sunlight-blocking articles are widely used in places of leisure such as squares, beaches, parks and courtyards, providing people with a comfortable space in which to enjoy the cool. When sold and displayed on a counter, sunlight-blocking articles can often only be placed on an exhibition stand; they cannot be opened up to allow people to make a selection. This is particularly true of parasols; if a parasol is opened up and laid out, it is bound to occupy a large space. Relatively speaking, a larger display stand must be set up, so the occupied space is large, and costs are imperceptibly increased.
At present, there are many display stands for displaying merchandise, e.g. Chinese patent no. CN201210351719.0, “Merchandise display stand”, comprising: a stand and a display apparatus, with the stand having a table top for laying out merchandise, and the merchandise display stand further comprising a support apparatus for supporting the display apparatus on the stand, the support apparatus having at least one rotation axis disposed at an angle to the horizontal plane, and the display apparatus being capable of rotating around the at least one rotation axis.
Another example is patent no. CN201310671418.0, a merchandise display board and merchandise display stand, comprising: a rear frame, having a support part for setting-in of a front surface small board; and a transversely long front surface small board, an upper end thereof being able to be set into the support part of the rear frame in a freely rotatable manner, and being able to open a lower end side using the setting-in part as a fulcrum, characterized in that multiple said front surface small boards are provided in a longitudinal direction, with adjacent front surface small boards being separated by a specified size; in an upper rear position of the front surface small board, a horizontal slot extending in a direction perpendicular to a board surface, and an inclined slot inclined at a specified angle to the horizontal slot, are formed; the inclined slot and the horizontal slot have the same insertion opening.
The display stands described above enable merchandise to be laid out or turned, but neither one is capable of displaying sunlight-blocking articles, in particular parasols, hence there is a need to design a display stand specifically for sunlightblocking articles, in order to meet market demand.

Particular embodiments
The present patent application is described in further detail below with reference to the embodiment in the accompanying drawings.
As shown in figs. 1 - 3, a sunlight-blocking article display stand in this embodiment comprises a stand 1 and a mobile base 2. The stand 1 is a T-shaped dismantlable two-level frame structure with a protrusion provided at a front end. An upper level of the stand 1 forms a lattice-like upper-level object platform by having longitudinal and transverse support strips 14 welded to an upper-level frame. A lower level of the stand 1 forms a grille-like lower-level object platform by having a number of transverse square tubes 12 welded to a lower-level frame. Support is provided by vertical square tubes 13 between the frames of the upper-level object platform and the lower-level object platform. The vertical square tubes 13 are connected to the frames by screws; in this way, the stand 1 is designed to have a dismantlable structure, to facilitate packaging and transportation. A transverse square tube 12 is welded to a middle part of the upper level of the stand 1, to divide the upper-level object platform into two, on the left and right. The longitudinal and transverse support strips are narrow square tubes. The distance between the longitudinal and transverse support strips 14 can be changed; in this embodiment, four longitudinal and transverse support strips 14, specifically two strips in the longitudinal direction and two strips in the transverse direction, are provided on a left side of the upperlevel object platform, and eight longitudinal and transverse support strips 14, specifically four strips in the longitudinal direction and four strips in the transverse direction, are provided on a right side of the upper-level object platform, which can thus be used for placing various types of sunlight-blocking articles of different sizes. There are two mobile bases 2 disposed on the left and on the right, being arranged symmetrically at the bottom of the front end of the stand 1 and located on two sides of a T-shaped structure respectively. The height of the mobile base 2 is less than the distance between the lower-level object platform and the bottom of support feet. A sleeve 3 for insertion of a parasol 9 is provided on the mobile base 2. An insertion slot for insertion and fixing of the sleeve 3 is provided at a front part of the mobile base 2. The sleeve 3 is vertically inserted on the insertion slot, and the height of the sleeve 3 is lower than the height of the stand 1. The mobile base 2 is connected retractably to the lower-level object platform of the stand 1 by means of a retractable rod 5. The retractable rod 5 is formed by connecting a fixed rod 51 and a moving rod 52 together in a penetrating manner. Mounting holes 15 are provided on left and right sides of two (inner and outer) longitudinal square tubes 11 of the lower-level object platform. A rear end and a middle-front part of the fixed rod 51 are provided with connecting parts 511 corresponding to the two (inner and outer) longitudinal square tubes 11. Mounting through-holes 512 corresponding to the mounting holes 15 are provided on the connecting parts 511. The fixed rod 51 is fixed to the bottom of the two (inner and outer) longitudinal square tubes 11 of the lower-level object platform by screws 6. A through-hole 31 connected to a front end of the moving rod 52 is provided in a radial direction at a lower part of the sleeve 3, in a position corresponding to the retractable rod 5. A fastening screw 7 passes through the through-hole 31, and fixes the sleeve 3 and the moving rod 52 in a T-shaped connection. Furthermore, four roller wheels 4, which can facilitate free sliding of the mobile base 2, are provided at four corners of the bottom of the mobile base 2. Connecting holes 21 connected to the roller wheels 4 are provided at the four corners of the mobile base 2. The roller wheels 4 are mounted to the bottom of the mobile base 2 by screws 8. When the mobile base 2 is completely retracted, a front end of the mobile base 2 is substantially flush with the protrusion of the stand 1, and the sleeve 3 is located at a position of a recessed part of the Tshaped structure of the stand 1.
During use, unopened sunlight-blocking articles may be placed on the upper level and lower level of the stand, and also hung up by being hooked onto the longitudinal and transverse support strips 14, and parasols 9 may be inserted in the sleeves 3. When it is necessary to open the parasol 9, the mobile base 2 may be moved outwards, and the position of the mobile base 2 may be moved as required to effect changes. When not in use, the mobile base 2 is drawn in, so that it does not occupy more space than necessary.
In this embodiment, in order to facilitate packaging and transportation, the stand 1 is designed as a dismantlable structure.
The stand 1 may also be designed to have three or four levels of different heights as required; an object platform at each level may be lattice-like or grille-like.
The embodiments above are merely preferred embodiments of the present patent application. It should be pointed out that those skilled in the art could make a number of improvements and embellishments on condition that the technical principles of the present patent application are not departed from; such improvements and embellishments should also be regarded as being within the scope of protection of the present patent application.
