Description
Method and system for generating an augmented reality signal and a control signal for an auxiliary device for performing sexually arousing actions to a spectator
The invention relates to augmented reality. Augmented reality allows to represent a scene including an object or body in the environment in which the spectator is present. Augmented reality generally requires a device adapted for observing the environment such as a camera and a display for presenting the observed environment in which the body or object represented by the augmented reality signal is projected. An example of augmented reality involves the presentation of a piece of furniture in a living room, allowing prospective buyers to observe how said piece of furniture will ‘look’ in their living room at several positions.
Hence augmented reality allows the spectator to observe the scene with the object or body virtually located in the environment in which the spectator is present. Augmented reality also allows the spectator to observe the object or body from different directions, depending on the position of the spectator and the device. To allow these functions the system is adapted to observe its angular position and its position relative to the body represented by the augmented video signal. As the body or object is represented by a dynamic signal, the body or object represented may move and change its shape or appearance.
In the entertainment sector augmented reality is known to make the experience of viewing a scene more realistic by adding three-dimensional observation of an object or person and by allowing to observe said object or person from several directions.
Another aspect of augmented reality is the provision of two different displays, one for each eye of the spectator, to further increase the three dimensional representation.
Such a use of augmented reality involves a method for generating an augmented video signal adapted to display at least a scene to a spectator in an augmented reality environment on a display device adapted to present a moving image in an augmented reality environment to the spectator, the method comprising the steps of providing an augmented video signal.
Further in the field of erotic entertainment it is known to combine a video signal with a control signal for an auxiliary device adapted to perform sexually satisfying actions to the spectator, in which the control signal is adapted to control the auxiliary device such that its actions are related to the actions of an actor in the video signal. In the present document the term ‘actor’ is to be understood to represent both male and female persons.
The aim of the invention is to increase the experience of the combination of viewing the video and use of the auxiliary device to make the experience more resembling to a situation in which the spectator has a real erotic experience.
This aim is reached by a method of the kind referred to above in which the augmented video signal represents a scene displaying at least one actor performing sexually arousing movements in a scene, a control signal is derived from the sexually arousing movements, the control signal being adapted to control an auxiliary device adapted to perform sexually satisfying actions to the spectator and the control signal is added to the augmented video signal to form a combined video signal.
This method adds a three-dimensional experience for the spectator, thus allowing to increase the fidelity or resemblance of the experience presented on the display device with the real experience in which the actor would be present.
The invention also provides a system for generating an augmented video signal adapted to display at least a scene to a spectator in an augmented reality environment on a display device adapted to present a moving image in an augmented reality environment to the spectator, the system comprising generating means adapted to generate an augmented video signal representing a scene displaying at least one actor performing sexually arousing movements in a scene, a processor being adapted to derive a control signal representing sexually arousing movements performed by at least an actor in a scene represented by the augmented video signal, the control signal being adapted to control an auxiliary device adapted to perform sexually satisfying actions to the spectator, and wherein the processor is adapted to add the control signal to the augmented video signal to form a combined video signal.
The invention also provides a combined video signal adapted to display at least a scene to a spectator in an augmented reality environment on a device adapted to present a moving image to the spectator, wherein the combined video signal comprises an augmented video signal depicting a scene in which at least one actor performs sexually arousing movements and the combined video signal comprises a control signal adapted to control an auxiliary device adapted to perform sexually satisfying actions to the spectator.
There are several methods to generate the control signal. A first option for generating this signal is the derivation thereof from a tool handled by the actor.
Such a tool may comprise sensors, which can be used, possibly after processing, to generate such a control signal. It is also possible that the control signal is derived from the movements of the actor, avoiding the requirement for the actor to use a tool. The control signal can be derived from the movements of the actor by post processing of the enhanced video movie signal or of the video signals from which the enhanced video signal is derived. This post processing can take place by human person viewing the displayed video signal or automatically. It is however also possible to derive the control signal by other means, such as 3D-scanning, which can be either performed by a separate system of be integrated into the recording of the video signals from which the augmented video signal is derived.
The augmented video signal may be provided by different means. According to a preferred embodiment the augmented video signal is generated by recording at least two video signals and by converting the at least two video signals into the augmented video signal.
This embodiment also provides a system of the kind referred to above in which the generating means comprise at least two camera’s adapted to record the scene from mutually different directions and to generate a video signal each and a processor connected to the at least two cameras and adapted to convert the at least two video signals into the augmented video signal allowing to display the scene in an augmented reality environment on the display device.
Preferably the processor is adapted to derive the control signal from the at least two video signals.
Preferably the processing of the at least two video signals encompasses the combination of the video signals from camera’s observing the at least one actor from mutually different angles of view to form the augmented video signal comprising an at least partial three dimensional representation of the at least one actor.
Often erotic scenes show reciprocal movements by the actor or actors. A preferred embodiment thus provides a method of the kind referred to above in which the actor performs sexually satisfying movements comprising at least one reciprocal movement, that the control signal is derived from the reciprocal movements of the actor and that the control signal is adapted to control the auxiliary device to perform sexually satisfying actions resembling said reciprocal movements.
This embodiment provides as well an augmented video signal of the kind as referred to above, in which the augmented video signal represents sexually satisfying actions comprising at least one reciprocal movement and that the control signal is adapted to control the auxiliary device to make actions matching the reciprocal movement.
According to a preferred embodiment the generating of the augmented video signal comprises the recording of a sound signal and the adding of the sound signal to the augmented video signal.
Modern computers allow to generate moving images representing a scene, without actually observing the scene, by creation of virtual reality. The present invention also provides for this technology, by providing an embodiment, in which the augmented video signal is generated by a computer programmed to generate signals representing a moving image in an augmented reality environment.
This embodiment also provides a system of the kind referred to above in which the generating means comprise a computer programmed to generate an augmented video signal.
In natural sexual intercourse the bodies of the partners are in mutual bodily contact or at least in close proximity. To recreate such a situation as closely as possible through augmented reality, anther preferred method comprises the feature that the processing of the at least one video signal makes the augmented video signal adapted to display the actor as a sexual partner for the spectator in close proximity to the spectator. Herein it is noted that the use of augmented reality allows to represent the body of the actor in close proximity to the spectator, despite the fact that the actor is located in an arbitrary position in the scene during recording. This contrary to ‘normal’ three-dimensional viewing in which the viewpoint of the spectator is determined by the location of the camera or camera’s. Further this embodiment requires the display device to be present in close proximity to the spectator to allow to display the actor in close proximity. A good example of such is display device is a head wearable display, worn on the head of the spectator, which allows to display the sexual partner in close proximity. Such a head worm display may be composed of a smartphone in a suitable carrier.
This preferred embodiment also provides a system of the kind referred to above in which the processor is adapted to make the augmented video signal adapted to display the single actor as a sexual partner for the spectator in close proximity to the spectator. In this respect it is noted that the camera’s for recording the video signals do not necessarily have to be close to the body of the actor, as the three dimensional representation of the body required by the augmented reality feature can be obtained by camera’s located on some distance from the actor, provided the camera's observe the actors body to allow a 3D representation.
This preferred embodiment finally also provides an combined video signal of the kind referred to above in which the augmented video signal is adapted to display the single person as a sexual partner for the spectator in close proximity to the spectator.
Yet another preferred embodiment provides the feature that the control signal is adapted to make the auxiliary device arouse the genitals of the spectator. It will be clear that this embodiment also provides a corresponding apparatus and signal.
The most important market for the invention resides in male spectators. Hence a preferred embodiment provides a method of the kinds referred to above in which the actor is a female actor and that the control signal is adapted to control a masturbator.
To cater for a female market another embodiment provides a corresponding method in which the actor is a male actor and that the control signal is adapted to control is a vibrator.
Although other means of distribution such as via DVD’s are not excluded, it is preferred that the combined signal is distributed via the internet.
For some spectators it is attractive that the scene depicted on the display device comprises more than one actor. These actors may have opposite genders or the same gender. The spectator may be offered the possibility to select one of the actors to be observed in close distance to him or herself, and to use the control signal referring to the movements of the selected actor for driving the auxiliary device. Selection may take place in the display device which requires both control signals to be available in the combined signal, or in the processing preceding the transfer over the internet, requiring only one signal to be transmitted over the internet to the display device.
This embodiment also provides a system of the kind referred to above in which the processor is adapted to two derive a control signal representing the movements of at least two actors present in the scene.
This embodiment also provides a combined video signal in which the control signal represents the movements of at least two of the actors.
Subsequently the present invention will be elucidated with the help of the following drawings, in which depict:
Figure 1: a diagram of a scene including a female actor, the scene being recorded by three video cameras;
Figure 2: a diagram of the processing steps of the video signals generated by the video cameras to prepare an augmented reality signal;
Figure 3: a diagram of a male spectator observing a virtual reality scene represented by a display device adapted to be worn as spectacles, and using a masturbator; and
Figure 4: a diagram of a an alternative embodiment.
To prepare a video signal adapted to represent a scene in augmented reality, the scene 1 depicted in figure 1 is recorded by three camera’s 2a, 2b and 2c. It will be clear that larger numbers of camera’s 2 may be required to allow a proper three dimensional representation of the scene 1. The scene 1 comprises a seat 3 on which an actress 4 is seated. The actress 4 is at least partially undressed to express the erotic nature of the scene. The actress 4 moves one of her hands 5 in a reciprocal, sexually arousing movement. It is however also possible that the actress 4 uses an arousing toy, comprising sensors of which the signal is added to the augmented video signal. Finally a microphone 6 is present to record the sound of the scene 1.
The processing of the video signal is represented by the diagram depicted in figure 2. The processing starts with the three cameras 2a, 2b and 2c observing the scene 1, and each outputting a video signal, which is supplied to an augmented reality processor 10. This processor 10 adapts the three video signals to form a signal giving a three dimensional representation of the scene, in particular of the actress 4, to form an augmented reality signal. Such processing is well known in the field of augmented reality. A preferred but not required feature of the processing is the adaptation of the signal to allow it to represent the actress 4 in close proximity to the spectator.
Further the processing involves the derivation of a control signal tor an auxiliary device used by the spectator. The control signal for the auxiliary device makes the auxiliary device perform actions to the spectator which resemble the reciprocal movements of the actress, requiring that the control signal is derived from the movements. The video signals depict the actress, including her hands and the movements thereof, allowing to derive the control signal from the video signals, or, from one camera if it is positioned correctly for observing these movements. Hence an auxiliary processor 11 is present to which the video signals are fed, and which is adapted to derive the control signal for the auxiliary device. As appears from figure 2, the augmented video signal and the control signal are combined in a combination unit 12. Also the signal from the microphone 6 is fed to the combination unit 12 to complete the augmented reality presented to the spectator.
In an alternative embodiment the actress uses an erotic toy, such as a vibrator comprising sensors, and delivering a signal representing the movements of the actress. This embodiment is not depicted in the drawings as the functioning of this embodiment will be clear to a skilled person. The signal from the sensors of the toy is preferably wireless transmitted to a receiver and fed to the combination circuit 12, to obtain the same combined augmented reality signal as in the embodiment described before. The signal is then either distributed via the internet on a way which is known as such, or recorded on a digital information carrier such as a DVD and put for sale. Of utmost importance is the synchronization of the augmented video signal with the movements represented by the control signal. in case distribution takes place via the internet, interactivity is possible, allowing the spectator to send messages to the actress, for instance to express request for actions, possibly coupled with a payment system.
Figure 3 depicts a spectator 20, wearing an augmented reality display 21 located in front of his eyes, such as is known in the field of virtual reality and augmented reality. The display 21 device may be formed by a smartphone in a corresponding spectacle like frame. There are several possibilities for such a display, but it is preferred that it is located on a short distance from the eyes of the spectator to allow to represent the actress in close proximity. Further the spectator 20 makes use of a masturbator 22, in which the spectator has inserted his penis. While the augmented reality signal is fed to the display device 21, the control signal is fed to the masturbator 22. Together these devices offer the spectator a feeling resembling the feeling of have a real sexual partner.
Figure 4 depicts an alternative embodiment in which the augmented video signal is generated by a computer only, that is without actually recording a scene by camera’s. This embodiment makes use of virtual reality by artificially constructing a scene, including the movements of the persons acting in the scene. This embodiment comprises a computer 30, which must be adapted to generate a virtual reality scene with at least one moving actor. In this respect it is noted that in particular the actor needs to be represented for the aim of the present invention, that is to represent the actor in an augmented reality situation. The computer provides an augmented reality signal, which forms the basis of the combined video signal which is supplied to the spectator. The allow control of the auxiliary device, the computer 30 is also adapted to generate the control signal. Just as in the other embodiments the control signal is related to the substantially reciprocating movements of the actor. The use of a single computer 30 allows to directly derive the control signal from the signal component representing the reciprocating movement in the synthetization process of the representation of the moving actor. It is however also possible to derive the control signal from the augmented reality signal.
The present invention has been elucidated with the help of the preceding embodiment referring to a male spectator and a female actor. It will be clear that the invention is also applicable for male actors and female spectators. In such a situation the female spectator would use a vibrator controlled by the control signal.
Of course the invention is not limited to heterosexual preferences, but also to homosexual preferences, such as between a male spectator and a male actor or a female spectator and a female actor. Further the scene can comprise more than a single actor or actress, in which the control signal may represent the movements of several actors, and ottering the spectator the choice between the actors of which he or she prefers to have the movements control his or her auxiliary device.
An important aspect of the invention is the possibility to represent the close proximity of the actor represented by the augmented reality, to allow an as near as possible representation of sexual contact with the actor. Of course this also requires an auxiliary device adapted to be used in contact with the genitals or other erogene zones of the spectator.
