Description
A FLICKER SYSTEM FOR ELECTRONIC AND ELECTRICAL IMITATION CANDLES
Technical field
The present invention relates to a decorative lighting equipment, in particular a flicker system for electronic and electrical imitation candles, which makes the artificial flame of the imitation candles flicker.
Technical background
Imitation candles are nowadays a wide-spread type of decorative lighting equipment, consisting in most cases of LED's or other lamp constructions. In the imitation candles, often a device is used which shall make the artificial flame flicker. The Chinese patent number CN 201220295721.6 discloses such an imitation candle including such a device, in which an electric motor being the power source drives a rotary disk provided with a crank which moves the artificial flame plate which consists of a reflection disk and is suspended on a steel thread, thus achieving that the flame plate creates the impression of a flickering movement. This device is, however, a complicated construction. The production costs are high, and the assembly method consists of too many steps, so that the assembly speed leaves something to be desired.
Object of the invention
The present invention is based on the object to provide a flicker system for electronic and electrical imitation candles which avoids the above-mentioned shortcomings of the prior art.
The problem is solved by the following technical concept: The flicker system according to the invention includes a flame plate, a holder, a staggered coil, and a circuit board. The flame plate consists of a plastic material and has at its upper part a concave torch-shaped flame imitation. Under the flame plate, a rectangular suspended weight is attached which serves for counterbalancing the upper part. The lower end of the suspended weight is connected with a permanent magnet. In the middle of the central part of the flame plate, a circular center hole is provided. A small cylindrical pin hanging downwards is attached in the upper inner edge of the center hole. The lower end of the pin is semispherical in shape.
The holder, viewed from above, is a T-shaped plastic part and has at its rear part a cross-bar, in the middle of which a rafter is attached. In the middle of the upper surface of the rafter, a semispherical recess is provided.
The staggered coil is a pizza-shaped electromagnetic coil.
The circuit board includes a chip which is able to convert the direct current into intermittent DC rectangular pulses.
The rafter of the holder passes through the center hole without directly touching the latter's inner edge. The pin is movably located in the recess of the rafter. The staggered coil is connected to the output interface of the circuit board.
The flicker system according to the invention is of a simple design and can be produced at a low cost price. The assembly method comprises only few steps and, in addition, ensures a low current consumption of the imitation candles.

Exemplary embodiment
In the following, an exemplary embodiment of the present invention is explained in detail by means of the drawing.
As shown in Fig. 1 to 6, the flicker system according to the invention comprises a flame plate 1, a holder 2, a staggered coil 3, and a circuit board 4. The flame plate 1 consists of a plastic material and has at its upper part a concave torch-shaped flame imitation. Under the flame plate 1, a rectangular suspended weight 11 is attached, which serves for counterbalancing the upper part. The lower end of the suspended weight 11 is connected with a permanent magnet 12. In the middle of the central part of the flame plate 1, a circular center hole 13 is provided. A small cylindrical pin 131 hanging down-wards is attached in the upper inner edge of the center hole 13. The lower end of the pin 131 is semispheri-cal in shape.
The holder 2, viewed from above, is a T shaped plastic part and has at its rear part a cross-bar, in the middle of which a rafter is attached. In the middle of the upper surface of the rafter, a semispherical recess 21 is provided.
The staggered coil 3 is a pizza-shaped electromagnetic coil.
The circuit board 4 includes a chip which is able to convert the direct current into intermittent DC rectangular pulses.
The rafter of the holder 2 passes through the center hole 13 without directly touching the latter's inner edge. The pin 131 is movably located in the recess 21 of the rafter. The staggered coil 3 is connected to the output interface of the circuit board 4.
When the system is inserted in an imitation candle, the flame plate 1 is positioned in such a manner that its upper part is located above the middle of the upper end of the candle housing 01. The lower part of the flame plate 1 is hanging inside the candle housing 01 without directly touching the latter's inner wall. The cross-bar of the holder 2 is attached to the inner wall of the candle housing 01. The staggered coil 3 is positioned at a slight offset below the permanent magnet 12 and is connected to the inner wall of the candle housing 01. The circuit board 4 is located below the staggered coil 3 and is also connected to the inner wall of the candle housing 01. The circuit board 4 is, furthermore, connected to the batteries 02 via a switch 03.
The operating principle of the flicker system for electronic and electrical imitation candles according to the invention is as follows: The circuit board 4 converts the direct current supplied by the batteries 02 into intermittent DC rectangular pulses, thus stimulating the staggered coil 3, which then generates an intermittent-pulse magnetic field which, via the permanent magnet 12, intermittently puts the flame plate 1 into an oblique position. As the pin 131 is movably located in the recess 21, a recurrent process develops, during which the flame plate 1 gets into an oblique position for a short time and moves back into its original position due to the counterbalance adjustment, with the result that the flame plate 1 swings to and fro, whereby the flame plate 1 in the light of the LED creates the impression of a flickering movement .
The present invention is not limited to the above-described exemplary embodiment. The above-described exemplary embodiment just serves for illustration and has not limiting effect. Further possible embodiments which are identical or equivalent to the technical concept of the present invention are also covered by the claims of the present invention.
