Description
P31111NLOO/RRP31111NLOO / RR
Korte aanduiding: Transport- of positioneerworm met verticale flesverplaatsingShort indication: Transport or positioning worm with vertical bottle displacement
The invention relates to a conveyor worm or positioning worm with the possibility of placing wasp waist bottles, or bottles with a larger bottom diameter (foot diameter) than the body diameter, vertically in or out of the worm without having to move the guide or handrail and / or the worm .
55
Zie fig. 1.Normally the bottles are stopped by a worm during a worm transport and driven by a conveyor belt. The worm is built up here from a spiral screw blade extending around a central axis. In the conveying direction, the bottles hereby bear against a turn of the screw blade. The 10 bottles lie in the lateral direction against the central axis. In addition, the bottles are bounded in the opposite lateral direction by a guide in the form of a rail or the like. As a result, the bottle is always pushed in the transport direction against a flank of the worm and thus the position of the bottle is thus determined by the worm. See fig. 1.
Since the central axis of the worm is cylindrical and must be a certain distance above the track in order to be able to retain the bottle, it is impossible for bottles with a wasp waist and / or bottles with a larger diameter foot than body, to Take the bottle straight out of the worm or place it in it. See fig. 2 in which a segment of the central axis of the worm is to the right of the dotted line. This segment together with the guide impedes the free vertical passage of the bottle.
The present invention provides a solution for this as defined in the claims. By constructing recesses in the central axis of the worm, it becomes possible to move bottles with a larger bottom diameter vertically upwards or downwards along the worm without the guide or worm itself having to be removed laterally. However, in order to be able to correctly position the recesses, the conveyor belt must first be stopped or, if the conveyor belt continues to run, the bottles must first be grasped. The worm is then rotated a certain number of degrees to put the recess in the correct position alongside or opposite the bottle (s), so that it can (can) move vertically along it.
22
In fig. Fig. 3 shows the situation in which the recesses are still at the top of the worm. Here you can see bottles standing on a conveyor belt or other type of conveyor, while they are bounded laterally by a central axis of a worm according to the invention. The vials are driven by the conveyor belt and retained on one side by a screw blade of the worm. A guide in the form of a handrail is provided on the other side next to the conveyor track. This is not shown in FIG. The bottles have a wasp waist so they normally stick their feet under the central axis (core) of the worm. Normally you cannot pull the bottles vertically between the worm and the guide without having the guide slide aside. At a moment X we stop the conveyor belt and continue to rotate so far with the worm that the recess will be at the height of the bottle. Now it is possible to lift the bottles straight out of the "pockets" without extra movements of the guide. In the position shown in Fig. 3, the worm must be rotated approximately a quarter of a turn so that the recesses subsequently lie alongside the bottle bodies. This position is shown in Fig. 4, in which the guide is also shown. The degree of rotation required to reach the position shown in Fig. 4 can also be greater or smaller because and depends, for example, on the position in which the worm has come to a standstill. In addition, it also depends on the pitch and bottle diameter where the recess can sit.
20 Fig. 4 laat vervolgens in een aantal stappen zien dat het in deze stand waarin de uitsparingen langszij van de flessen zijn komen te liggen, mogelijk is geworden om de flessen naar boven toe uit te nemen zonder dat de grotere diameter gestuit wordt door de centrale as.FIG. 4 subsequently shows in a number of steps that in this position in which the recesses have come to lie alongside the bottles, it has become possible to take the bottles upwards without the larger diameter being interrupted by the central axis.
In addition to the embodiment shown, many variants are possible. Thus, the recesses can not only extend along a limited circumferential part of the shaft, for example along a quarter thereof, but in a variant they can also extend over a larger circumferential part or even completely around the conveyor worm. This then has the advantage that the axis does not have to be positioned as accurately as possible. Instead of or in addition to the recesses, other active parts can also be provided on the conveyor worm, which first come to lie in an active position with respect to the bottles after the worm has been turned one turn.
