Claims (12)

1. Werkwijze voor het verwerken van een hersengolfsignaal dat is verkregen van een persoon met gebruik van een hersengolfdetector, omvattende: - het toevoeren van één of meer stimuli aan de persoon, waarbij de een of meer stimuli 5 een pseudo-willekeurige ruiscomponent omvatten; - het detecteren van een hersengolfsignaal; en - het volgen van mentale verwerking van de een of meer stimuli door het correleren van de pseudo-willekeurige miscomponent en het hersengolfsignaal.
2. Werkwijze volgens conclusie 1, waarbij het volgen van de mentale verwerking van de een of meer stimuli wordt uitgevoerd voor het hersengolfsignaal zoals gedetecteerd in een tijdsperiode na het toevoeren van de stimulus.
3. Werkwijze volgens conclusie 1 of 2, waarbij het volgen van de een of meer 15 stimuli omvat: - het omvormen van de pseudo-willekeurige miscomponent, en - het correleren van het hersengolfsignaal en de omgezette pseudo-willekeurige miscomponent.
4. Werkwijze volgens conclusie 3, waarbij het omzetten van de pseudo-willekeurige miscomponent omvat - het verschaffen van een voorspelling van een hersengolfsignaal voor een specifieke pseudo-willekeurige miscomponent door decompositie van een opgenomen hersengolfsignaal met gebmik van bijdragen die behoren bij stijgende en dalende 25 flanken in de specifieke pseudo-willekeurige miscomponent.
5. Werkwijze volgens één van de conclusies 1-4, waarbij ten minste twee stimuli worden toegevoerd aan de persoon met verschillende bijbehorende pseudo-willekeurige miscomponenten, en de werkwijze verder omvat 30 het selecteren van de stimulus met de hoogste correlatie als een indicatie van selectieve aandacht van de persoon op de bijbehorende stimulus.
6. Werkwijze volgens conclusie 5, waarbij de indicatie van selectieve aandacht wordt gebruikt voor het besturen van een inrichting.
7. Werkwijze volgens conclusie 5 of 6, waarbij de verschillende pseudo-5 willekeurige ruiscomponenten onderling orthogonaal zijn.
8. Werkwijze volgens een van de conclusies 1-7, waarbij de een of meer stimuli een gehoorstimulus omvatten.
9. Werkwijze volgens conclusie 8, waarbij de gehoorstimulus een toonsignaal is dat amplitude gemoduleerd is met een pseudo-willekeurige ruisreeks.
10. Werkwijze volgens een van de conclusies 1-9, waarbij het hersengolfsignaal eerst ruimtelijk gefilterd wordt.
11. Hersen-computerinterface omvattende - een detector voor het verkrijgen van een hersengoIfsignaal van een persoon, - een met de detector verbonden processor voor het verwerken van het hersengolfsignaal volgens een van de werkwijzeconclusies 1-10, en 20. een met de processor verbonden inrichting die ingericht is voor het ontvangen van de verwerkte data van de processor.
12. Computer program product omvattende computeruitvoerbare code, die wanneer deze geladen is in een computersysteem dat is ingericht voor het ontvangen van data 25 behorend bij een hersengolfsignaal, het computersysteem de functionaliteit verschaffen van een van de werkwijzeconclusies 1-10. ******
