The valve (100) has a chamber (132) with two substantially parallel channels (111, 112), and a drain that opens or closes the channels by a controllable electromagnet. A main body (120) includes movable parts with cooperating sealing surfaces, where the final position of the main body is affected by one or more fluid flow. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a multi-way valve.
