Description
The widespread outbreak of coronavirus took humanity by surprise from winter 2020, just at the time when it was proud of its progress in the various fields including medicine. As a result of a high demand for protective equipment such as mouth caps and too short thereof, medical personnel in many countries have not remained safe from this pandemic and unfortunately died of the deadly virus. The increasing amount of human loss due to the spread of this virus also in developed countries requires serious attention to the necessity of developing preventive and protective equipment more than ever. “Innovation Plus, Chamber of Commerce: 73553417 in Leiden” has designed a smart electronic ultraviolet mask especially for the medical staff and then everyone. Our product is an active electronic ultraviolet mask consisting of a light silicone mask with a grid plate filter in the front. It is equipped with an ultraviolet radiation source (Fig.1, 2), two in/out diaphragms that allow smooth passage of the sterilized air during inhalation/exhalation, a sound amplifier system for smooth transmission of the voice and another electronic board (Fig.3). As soon as the mask wearer starts breathing in, a “hall effect sensor” is activated. This sensor activates the ultraviolet lights, after which the incoming diaphragm opens and lets the inhaled air through. This system is also equipped with a fever meter and regularly checks the temperature of the patient or the mask wearer.
This product is an active ultraviolet mask and is distinguished from the existing competitors with a great advantage. The existing UV masks on the market are inactive and only sterilize their own filters but not the air. Thus, these masks are unable to perform a safe sterilization. Thus, there is always a high risk that the viruses can enter the human respiratory system. Thus, safe inhalation is not guaranteed in this way. Moreover, the existing masks on the market are not well thought out about removing the danger of molecule ozone (03). Sterilizing the air via UV radiation causes the creation of O3 within the small space of the mask. But we } removed this danger through a filter after sterilization. This filter converts the molecule of [ | ozone (O03) to turn back into oxygen (O2). Thus, the mask wearer receives a safely sterilized : inhalation air. The mechanism of converting ozone molecules (03) into the oxygen (O2) is such that one molecule of O3 goes inside the special filter. But due to the large size of the O3 molecule, an oxygen atom (0) of O3 is taken up there and the filter allows only one molecule of O2 to pass.

Note: “The two most important properties of this mask are to provide clean oxygen when inhaling up to 70%”. “And absorbing dangerous and 40 carcinogenic substances such as ethylbenzene from the air when using the mask”. This means that the air that the mask wearer breathes is cleaned up to 70% of suspended hazardous substances such as ethylbenzene”. And this is so important in the health mask industry for medical personal protective equipment.
Due to the radiation of UV lamps, the inhaled air, which may contain viruses, 45 microbes or bacteria, is completely sterilized.
When designing this mask, our team paid great attention to the health of the people around the infected person wearing this mask.
Contaminated inhalation air of viruses is dangerous only for the person wearing an unsafe mask, but infected exhalation air can infect many people around the patient.
Daarom heeft dit masker een 50 dubbele functie. Therefore, this mask has a 50 double function.
This means that the process of disinfecting the inhaled air also works on the exhale, in the opposite direction, so that the exhaled air is also sterilized.
This feature protects the environment of the person wearing the mask from the viral infection.
This opportunity makes it convenient to take care of the infected people at home or in the hospital, and also make social contact possible between the people.
Thus, these unique features distinguish our system from any type of protective masks against the infectious disease.
