BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention:
The present invention relates to a blind valve for ships, 5 . especially to a blind valve, wherein its discharge holes can be adjusted by simply rotating a hand wheel construction installed on the blind valve, so as to respond the adjustment of water discharging of ships.

Blind valve is generally used in the middle section of a pipeline to discharge water or other liquid in one direction. When used in a ship, it is to timely discharge water in the pipeline. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

As shown in Figure 1, 2 & 3, the hand wheel type blind valve of the present invention comprises of: A valve body 100, inside which a space 2 is formed with opening at top. The valve body has a discharge hole 31, 32 at 35 each of its two sides, the discharge holes 31, 32 are interlinked with the space 2; at the outer sides of the discharge holes 31, 32 are plurality of flange hole 41 for . flange assembly. Furthermore, there is a pressing bracket 793 for firmly fixing the coupling mechanism 79 on the protection pipe 78.
There is also a hand wheel 8 having a via hole 81 at its central part for said perpendicular screw rod 63 to penetrate 15 through, the lower end of the central part of the hand wheel 8 is formed as a rectangular concave 82, thus the rectangular pipe 791 of the coupling mechanism 79 can be firmly mounted with it and then they are united together.
Based on the above construction, in order to adjust the 20 positions of valve discs 61, 62, as shown in Figure 5, rotate the hand wheel 8, then the perpendicular screw rod 63 is driven by coupling mechanism 79, the perpendicular screw rod 63 then moves upward, and the valve discs 61, 62 are moved upward. Claims (7)

1.
