The training system 1 comprises a base frame 3, a support member 4 for supporting the user 2, and a vibration device 5 connected to the support member 4 and configured to provide a vibration movement 6 of the support member 4 relative to the base frame 3. The base frame 3 is for the use of the training system 1 positioned a surface 9. The surface 9 is a floor. The support member 4 comprises a support 10 surface 7 on which the user 2 in use stands.
The support member 4 is connected to the vibration device 1 such that the support member 4 comprises a first degree of freedom 14 which allows rotation of the support member about a first rotation axis 11 and relative to the base frame 3. The first degree of freedom 14 allows the user to roll the support member 4.
15 The support member 4 is connected to the vibration device 1 such that the support member 4 comprises a second degree of freedom 15 which allows rotation of the support member 4 about a second rotation axis 12 and relative to the base frame 3. The second degree of freedom 15 allows the user to pitch the support member 4.
The support member 4 is connected to the vibration device 1 such that the support 20 member 4 comprises a third degree of freedom 16 which allows rotation of the support member 4 about a third rotation axis 13 and relative to the base frame 3. The third degree of freedom 16 allows the user to yaw the support member 4.
Each of the first, second and third degrees of freedom 14-16 provide a specific dimension to the training with the training system 1.
25 The support member 4 is connected to the vibration device 5 by a ball and socket joint 23. The first, second and third degrees of freedom 14-16 are provided by said ball and socket joint 23. It is noted that in this embodiment the rotation movement in the first and second degree of freedom 14,15 provided by the ball and socket joint 23 is also often called a pivot movement.
30 The first and second rotation axis 11,12 extend substantially parallel to the surface 9.
The third rotation axis 13 extends substantially perpendicular to the surface 9. The first, second and third rotation axis 11-13 cross each other in one specific point.
The vibration device 5 comprises a vibration surface 8 which in used makes a vibration movement. The support member 4 is releasable connected to the vibration surface 8, such 35 that the support member 4 makes a vibration movement as indicated by arrow 6. The vibration movement 6 of the support member substantially is a translational movement. Said translational movement is substantially in the direction the third rotation axis 13.
- 4 -
The support member 4 is connectable to the vibration device 1 via an elongated connection member 21. The connection member 21 releasable connected to the vibration surface 8 of the vibration device 5 by connection means 24.
