A motor (4) rotates the glass plate through a shaft (5), where the laser diode projects light through the glass plate. A mounting plate (3) is provided inside the housing for mounting the laser diode and the glass plate.

Fig. 1 toont een eventuele inbouw mogelijkheid van een laserdiode met een motor 4 en glasplaat met structuur. De behuizing 1 kan in principe alles zijn, je kan het overal in inbouwen (mits natuurlijk de afmetingen kloppen) of je kunt een bestaande vorm zo aanpassen dat alles 10 erin past. De glasplaat zit met een as 5 vast aan de motor die het liefst niet teveel omwentelingen maakt. Doordat de motor draait zijn de figuren die ontstaan altijd in beweging.
