Abstract

The trapeze bar together with a loose hook (1) regulates pressure on the shoulder band, the bar (2) and hook being connected with each other by a line (3) running through pulleys (4) and connected to the shoulder band. By hooking into the trapeze, the line and shoulder band are tightened so that it is possible to stand on the trapeze. By unhooking there is no longer force on the line and shoulder band and the hook returns to the bar with the aid of an elastic/spring.

Description

Trapezebar welke de druk op de schouderbanden regelt van het trapezevestTrapeze bar which controls the pressure on the shoulder straps of the trapeze vest

The trapeze bar that is described applies to water sports.

The trapeze bar controls the pressure on the shoulder straps using the force that comes to stand on the hook as soon as one trapeze stands.

Zie fig. 1.With this design, the hook that is normally attached to the bar is separate from the bar. The hook (1) is connected to the bar (2) by means of a line (3). This line is attached at one end to the shoulder straps of the trapeze vest. This line then runs through a pulley (4) on the bar. The line then goes through the rest of the pulleys which are attached to the hook and the bar. The other end of the line is attached to the hook. See fig. 1.

As soon as you want to stand on a trapeze, you hook the ring on the boat's trapeze into the hook. If you now stand trapeze, a force will be put on the hook. This increases the distance between the hook and the trapeze bar. As a result, the line on the side of the shoulder straps tightens the shoulder straps. This allows one to stand trapeze with a well-supported back.

As soon as the tension is released from the hook, the hook will retract to the bar through an elastic / spring. The tension then goes away from the line, so you can move without pressure on the shoulders.

The purpose of the pulleys is to reduce the force on the shoulder straps that arises while standing in the trapeze. Furthermore, the pulleys aim to keep the distance between the bar and the hook as small as possible.

How much line is drawn can be adjusted by making the line shorter on one of the sides, or by making the strap that is connected to the shoulder straps shorter.

The advantage of this design is: 1. If you are not in the trapeze: you do not experience any pressure on the shoulders or the crotch and, among other things, you have sufficient freedom of movement to move smoothly.

If you are in the trapeze: you are well supported, with pressure on the shoulders.

Claims (2)

This line runs through pulleys and is connected to the shoulder straps. Hooking into the boat's trapeze and standing on a trapeze creates a force on the hook, which increases the distance between the hook and the trapeze bar. As a result, the line on the side of the shoulder straps tightens the shoulder straps. This allows you to stand trapeze with a well-supported back. As soon as the tension is released from the hook, the hook will retract to the bar through an elastic / spring. The tension then goes away from the line, so you can move without pressure on the shoulders.
