Abstract

The screen is for use as an umbrella or head protection and is foldable from a first or inwardly folded state to a second or outwardly folded state. The screen (10) comprises a flat sheet in which folding lines (1,1a,1b,2,3,10,10a,10b,11,11a,11b,21,22,23,34,31,32,33,34) are provided for limiting adjacent surfaces. The sheet has a first longitudinal folding line (4) for folding it in a first positive direction to an inwardly folded state. The screen also has grips (4,5) for exerting a bending force on the sheet on the first folding line in a crossways direction. The grips are applied by means of intersecting lines which extend longitudinally at a distance from the first folding line.
