Abstract

Aluminum or steel drink cans (20) have lids which are crimped on, forming a protruding rim. The present transparent plastic cap (10) has a rim which clips over the rim of the can. The cap can be used to hold an object which will appeal to prospective consumers, e.g. a toy, badge, item of confectionery, etc. The cap can have a side tab to facilitate removal.
