Zoals getoond in figuur 8 kan het gat 17 worden gebruikt om het steundeel met een hangslot 19 te bevestigen aan een eveneens van een 20 gat voorzien (niet-getoond) tweede montage-deel 18 dat met een schroef 20 is gemonteerd op de bovenzijde van de ski 2.
