Abstract

A problem with ATMs or cash dispensing machines is that unauthorized people may observe a PIN number being keyed in during a transaction. To make this less likely to happen, the present machine has a mask (2) around the numerical keyboard (1). The mask has a lower opening (7) for the user's hand and an upper window (8) to allow the user, and only the user, to observe the keyboard.
