Abstract

The all round cover consists of an umbrella (2) to the circumference of which a side shield (3) is attached. Umbrella jacket

The invention consists of an umbrella with an all-round screen.

Existing umbrellas are difficult to handle in windy weather conditions and 5 do not offer the person under the umbrella enough protection against the rain.

The umbrella jacket can also be used in case of strong gusts of wind, because the attached sides prevent the wind from coming under the screen, so that the umbrella jacket can be kept upright and the view of the surroundings is maintained. Fig. 1 is a view of the umbrella jacket (1) in the unfolded position, with the side shield (3) fully lowered. In one of the corners of the side screen (3) there is an opening (9) along the entire length that can easily be closed or opened by means of Velcro (10). The side screen (3) here is made of transparent material, so that everything can be seen and road safety is not compromised. Optionally, each corner of side screen (3) can be provided with reflective material so that the umbrella jacket can also be used in the dark. Rings (11) are attached to the bottom of the side shield (3), 5 so that the umbrella jacket is suitable for multiple purposes.

In this version, the protective flap (4) is stitched to the screen (2) so that the side screen (3) is stored behind by means of press studs (5) attached to the protective flap (4) and the screen (2). . Here, too, the side screen (3) can be secured using ground pins (12). For ventilation, the windows (19) fitted with a zip or Velcro (18) can be opened. Because this embodiment is larger than the umbrella jacket shown in fig. 2, the side screen (3) can be raised and lowered with the aid of ropes. This is shown briefly in Fig. 6. The ropes (20) run in the hollow tubes (21) to the side shield (3) to which they are attached at the bottom. A ring (22) is slid into the opening of the tubes (21) so that the rope (20) cannot fray during use. Because the ropes (20) run through the loops (23), the side screen (3) is simply lifted by the pre-pressed folds without the side screen (3) having to be placed in the correct folds. The rope 10 (20) is coiled with a pulley (24) mounted in the hollow post (26) so that the ropes (20) cannot get tangled. The pulley (24) can be turned by folding open the handle (25) so that the spring clamp (27) is removed from the post (26). In this way, one person can pick up the side shield (3) and fold in the handle (25), so that the spring clamp (27) is slid onto the post (26), one has the hands free around the side shield (3). in the protective flap (4).
