The invention relates to a system according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such a system is known from practice. In view of the steadily increasing waste stream and the increasing disadvantages associated with the incineration and dumping of waste, there is an increasing need to induce consumers and companies, hereinafter referred to as waste producers, to produce as little waste as possible , for example by stimulating a behavioral adjustment and the most thorough self-processing of 10 (compostable) waste.
An important means in this endeavor is tariff differentiation based on the amount of waste offered. A usual implementation of such an arrangement consists in that the waste producer pays more as the container made available to him has a larger volume. For the most part, waste producers do not have the intended stimulating effect on the behavior with regard to the provision of waste, because they cannot properly determine the size of the waste container they need.
The object of the invention is to provide a waste container syst-20 system, with which the waste producers can determine in a simple and reliable manner which of the offered sizes of waste containers is the most suitable for them.
According to the present invention, this object is achieved by designing a waste container system of the type indicated in the preamble in accordance with the characterizing part of claimiel.
Because the larger waste container of the first type is provided with a marking or an inner bin indicating the volume of a waste container of a smaller size, the user can observe 30 each time accurately when filling the waste container, or by the time the container is emptied will have collected a volume of waste corresponding to the volume of the smaller container of the second type. If this is regularly the case, this provides the user with the indication that he can exchange the container of the first type 35 for a container of the second type, which entails a saving on the waste levy to be paid.

The present invention can also be applied in a method according to claim 12 to be used by the waste collection service, hereinafter referred to as waste collector, with which the waste producers are given a clearer insight into the possibilities of saving by limiting the supply of waste.
7 een mal van een goedkoop soort materiaal, waarin op strategische plaatsen uitsparingen zijn aangebracht; 1003318 3Special embodiments of the container system according to the invention are described in the relevant claims and the following detailed description, in which reference is made to the drawing. WERKWIJZEMETHOD
fig. In this example, this volume is divided according to two markings, which mark the sub-volume indicated in claim 1 (see also claim 3). The marker a-al of fig. 1 shows the volume of the containers of the second type (see claim 1), e.g. 140 liters. The other common marking (b-bl) indicates the volume of a container of the third type (see fig. 3). The volume of the even smaller third type mini container (see claim 10), e.g. 10 liters, corresponds to the volume of the optional inner box, in this example also 60 liters, stated in claim 6.
The distances a-al and b-bl in fig. 1 and a-al in fig. 2 indicate a safety margin (see claim 2). This safety margin has been introduced to limit any tamping by waste producers after 15 conversion to the final container size. In a transitional period to be set (eg during a year), in which the waste producer is given the opportunity to reduce his container volume to a smaller container size, the margin may be slightly lower (i.e. at the height of al and bl in fig. 1 and 20). already in fig. 2) than is strictly necessary to achieve the smaller, more affordable container size. If the desired size has been achieved with due regard to this safety margin, the waste producers have reduced their waste in such a way that, apart from incidental peaks, they no longer have to stamp their waste in the smaller mini-container. The possible peaks in the supply of waste producers mentioned above, which may occasionally lead people to exceed their smaller container size, should not be a problem for the waste producers.
In addition to a more efficient waste prevention and separation, they can also the well-known "expensive bag method" to deposit their waste at a collection depot, whether or not at a transfer station for coarse dirt.
Naturally, these waste producers, at least in those 35 areas that also have high-rise buildings, can rightly do so, provided that they work with locally advanced chip technology and extra storage space that has been rebuilt on site.
1003318 41003318 4
The aforementioned markings can also take the form of bulges (see claim 4 and fig. 1 and 2 letter c). In any case, the markings are made in ring form.
The aforementioned markings can still be accentuated by means of a color or tint transition in the wall of the mini container (see claim 5).
In fig. Fig. 4 shows a (e.g. 140 liter) mobile mini container of the second type with an inner box already known from the patent literature (see claim 6). This inner box corresponds in terms of inner volume to a smaller non-rollable mini container of the third type (see claims 10 and 11) - in this example - of 60 liters. This option is important, because lifting a container of the third, in principle non-rollable type, may conflict with stricter occupational health and safety provisions.
When this inner bin is fitted, it is of course important that the inner bin is fixed inseparably for the waste producer.
In the description of the above-described method, use can also be made of a mini-container, provided with a compartmentation wall (see figure 6 and claim 7), which is mounted on the inside of the mini-container. This separation has been made with the intention of separating the vegetable, fruit and garden waste 25 from the residual waste within the container (see claim 7). Optionally, the markings can be applied to the partition in accordance with the previously outlined method.
The waste producer himself with his mini container, but also the waste collection service, can apply markings 30 on the inside. This is possible in a simple manner by means of e.g. a mold (see figure 7 and claim 8) of cheap material, preferably paper or cardboard, corresponding in size to the previously described different container types. Recesses (see Figure 7, letter a) are provided in the mold at the aforementioned locations. A folded, preferably protruding, rim (see fig. 6 letter b) is provided with these recesses, provided with a covering layer. Under this covering layer, which must be easy to remove by the user, there is an adhesive edge. When this adhesive edge is folded back on the inside of the container 1003318 5 and properly attached, the user can - preferably - apply the markings himself with a suitable instrument, preferably a paint sprayer, optionally in different colors. Markings, if desired in different colors, can also be easily applied with a waterproof marker. According to the size of the container, the graduation marks are preferably applied in a ring shape on the inside of the mini container.
Optionally, within the aforementioned recesses, after correct fastening of the mold itself, the user can apply horizontal self-adhesive strips, whether or not in the full width in ring form.
In accordance with the previously described method, use can also be made of a dipstick provided with markings (see claim 8).
In accordance with the previously described method, use can also be made of a marking strip of solid material, which is arranged vertically and serves as a ruler (see claim 9 and fig. 5). It can be seen from Fig. 5 that this marking strip, which can be applied both by the waste producer and the collection service, but also production-wise, can be attached to several inner walls, if desired.
1003316 61003316 6
The waste producer - usually a calculating citizen! - receives a visual incentive to come below a certain mark every time he opens his waste bin (see also claim 12). -This container system makes the extension to existing forms of tariff differentiation 5, such as by means of weighting and frequency possible (see e.g. my graduation assignment 'Rate differentiation of household waste, the dynamics of a volume and weighing system').
This method can be applied in a financially virtually risk-free way 10, by coinciding the previously discussed transition period with the last year before the container file has to be replaced and at the beginning of this period markings asm the inside of the mini container bring. By making use of the cheap mold in particular, the waste producer has ample opportunity in the said period to carefully check whether he can suffice with a smaller container size, so that after the transition period, when new containers have just been purchased, expensive and environmentally harmful container changes can be prevented.
