Abstract

The clamp consists of a square tube (1) from which a fixed pin (2) protrudes at one end. A screw spindle, which is mounted inside the tube, engages with a nut on which a second pin is mounted. The second pin protrudes through a slot in the side of the tube. The position of the nut, and the pin which is mounted on it, can be adjusted to vary the distance between the pins. The pins have undercuts at the sides facing one another so that they form hooks which can be hooked behind edges of holes in wheel rims. The end opening of the tube, with screw spindle, can be locked with a plate (9). A plate (7) is mounted on the side of the tube. This plate covers the wheel nuts.
