Abstract

The box has a cylindrical wall (2) with two or more pairs of cable entry ports (4,5) opposite each other. Provision is made for securing screws for the box and for a lid. The centre of the base (3) is raised to form a truncated cone. A square box would have a truncated pyramid. The whole is a one-piece moulding. Four vertical wings (20,30) are set at 45 degrees to the entry ports (4,5). These, together with the sloping wall (7) of the base, deflect the leader cable upwards so that the end (B) is accessible.
