Abstract

The plate (1), which can be curved, has on one surface an insulating body (2) of mineral wool, glass fibre, etc.. Perforations (4) in the plate increase the sound-dampening effect. A second plate can be mounted on the side of the insulating body furthest from the perforated one, which forms a load-supporting component. Fixing devices to a wall or ceiling can be provided for the unit. Both plates can form a load-supporting component.
