Abstract
An automated battery disassembly system (100) according to one embodiment includes: a workstation (110) including a first worktable (111), a second worktable (114), a third worktable (115), and a discharging worktable (112, 113); a discharging device (150); a robot device (130); a transfer device (120); and a controller (170) electrically connected to the robot device (130) and the transfer device (120). The controller (170) is configured to control the robot device (130) to: when a battery pack is disposed on the first worktable (111), separate an upper cover from the battery pack; when the battery pack is disposed on the discharging worktable (112, 113), discharge the battery pack by connecting the battery pack to the discharging device; when the discharged battery pack is disposed on the second worktable (114), separate a battery module (10) from the discharged battery pack; and when the battery module (10) is disposed on the third worktable (115), separate battery cells (14) from the battery module (10).
