Abstract

A magnetic disk manufacture supporting method for supporting the manufacture of magnetic disks (800) that are manufactured from magnetic-disk glass substrates (100) double packaged with the first and the second packaging bags (210 and 220) comprises a first unpackaging step of unpackaging the first packaging bag (210) in a first room (510), a second unpackaging step of unpackaging the second packaging bag (220) in the second room (520), and a transfer-in step of transferring the magnetic-disk glass substrates (100) into the clean room (530). An air flow is directed from the second room (520) toward the first room (510) in the first unpackaging step and the second unpackaging step.
