Abstract

This application provides a verification code SMS message processing method and a terminal. The terminal receives a verification code SMS message that includes sender identity information of the verification code SMS message; queries, based on a correspondence between information and a certificate, a certificate corresponding to the sender identity information of the verification code SMS message; obtains a ciphertext by encrypting the verification code SMS message in a trusted execution environment TEE when the certificate corresponding to the sender identity information of the verification code SMS message matches a certificate of a currently visited web page; and obtains a verification code by decrypting the ciphertext in a rich execution environment REE. It may be learned that, after receiving the verification code SMS message, the terminal does not directly parse out the verification code from the verification code SMS message, but obtains the verification code only when the certificate corresponding to the sender identity information of the verification code SMS message matches the certificate of the currently visited web page. In addition, the terminal obtains the verification code in a manner of encrypting the verification code SMS message in the TEE first and then decrypting the ciphertext in the REE.
