Abstract

A shift lever unit (1), in which while a specific shift operation is restricted by a grooved pin (18) being pressed along a turning direction onto a step (325) provided to a detent window (32), the grooved pin (18) can pass over the step (325) by displacement of the grooved pin (18) by a releasing operation to allow the specific shift operation, includes a biasing structure which generates a biasing force of biasing the grooved pin (18) in a direction opposite to a direction of the displacement of the grooved pin (18) by the releasing operation, based on an abutting load of the grooved pin (18) acting on the step (325).
