Abstract

A connector (1) and an optical fiber connection assembly, relating to the field of optical fiber communications, and comprising: a connector main body (10), wherein the connector main body comprises an insertion portion (101), and the opposite two sides of the insertion portion (101) are separately provided with a positioning fastener (102); a fastener assembly, wherein the fastener assembly comprises two elastic suspension arms (11) fixed at the root portion of the insertion portion (101) and located at another opposite two sides of the insertion portion (101), and along an insertion direction, each elastic suspension arm (11) is sequentially provided with an unlocking fastener (111) and a locking fastener (112) that is clamped with a matched adaptor (2); an elastic member (12) inserted into the root portion of the insertion portion (101); and an unlocking ring (13) sleeved on the insertion portion (101), wherein one end of the unlocking ring (13) abuts against the elastic member (12), the other end abuts against the positioning fastener (102), the unlocking ring (13) can move along the axial direction of the insertion portion (101), and when the unlocking ring (13) moves towards the root portion of the insertion portion (101), the two elastic suspension arms (11) can be squeezed, so that the two elastic suspension arms (11) are close to the insertion portion (101). The connector (1) is simple and convenient to operate, and can achieve the highly dense arrangement of pre-connected products.
