The present invention relates to a microfluidic device (1000). The microfluidic device (1000) comprising a reservoir (310) configured to hold and pump fluid, a valve disc (500) configured to either allow or stop fluid flow, a valve inlet port (420) configured to either allow or stop fluid flow from the reservoir (310), and a valve outlet port (440) configured to either allow or stop fluid flow to the device outlet (220). The microfluidic device (1000) also comprises a device coil (800) configured to produce electricity when exposed to a magnetic field and provide the valve disc (500) with electricity. A top layer (200) is configured to provide an elastic force on the valve disc (500). (FIG. 2)
