Abstract
The present invention relates to formulation of an oral tablet composition comprising uniformly blended composition of active ingredient of natural palm-based vitamin E in the form of a tocotrienol-rich fraction (TRF), in self-emulsified or non-self-emulsified form, not less than 5 mg per tablet formulation; and the palm-based vitamin E in the form of a TRF, preferably consisting of 70%-85% tocotrienol in the form of mainly ?-, ?- and ?-tocotrienol; 10 and 15%- 30% tocopherol in the form of mainly ?-tocopherol; wherein the said tablet formulation comprises active ingredient natural palm-based vitamin E in the form of a TRF not less than 0.5% of total weight formulation and is swallowable, effervescent, orodispersible and preferably chewable for human consumption.
