The present invention relates to a biological coating composition for heat mitigation, the composition comprises of: a microbially induced calcite precipitating bacteria; a pigmented bacteria; a substance comprising calcium; and a clay mineral as a base, whereby the pigmented bacteria absorbs heat through excitation. The biological coating composition utilises waste disposal while reduces UHI effect, which provides multiple environmental benefits.
