Abstract

An automated method for packaging at least one glove or a stack of gloves which the method comprises the sequential steps of: folding a carton blank (100), into a box like configuration with an open carton wall at its top; loading at least one glove or a stack of gloves, into the box through the open carton wall at its top, wherein loading of said glove or stack of gloves into the box through the open carton wall is accomplished by passing each glove or stack of gloves through a substantially vertical plane during at least part of its loading path of movement while maintaining each glove or stack of gloves in a generally horizontal relationship during loading into the carton; and, closing the open carton wall to complete the packaging.
