Abstract

An air conditioner according to the present invention includes a heat exchanger (5) configured by layering plate fins, an air blower (6) that blows air to the heat exchanger (5), and a water receiving pan (7) disposed vertically below the heat exchanger (5). A gap is formed between pairs of adjacent plate fins by a protruded portion disposed in each of the plate fins and configured of a plurality of protrusions. The heat exchanger (5) is provided in an inclined manner. The protruded portion includes a plurality of lower protrusions disposed inside a lower end edge of the plate fins.
