Abstract

The method and apparatus for treatment of wastewater ensures that the discharge meets the regulatory limit of effluent. The integrated multi-stage biological reactor involved in the anaerobic, intermediate and aerobic conditions. The three modes operated in separate compartments. The reactor received the influent in the anaerobic compartment (12), to break down major compounds, then the effluent goes to the intermediate compartment (14), which will remove recalcitrant compounds, and then the wastewater will enter the aerobic compartment (16) for polishing.
