Abstract

The invention discloses a method implementing data service protection in an OTN device. The method comprises the following steps: monitoring, in real time, for a state of a data service port, and a serious warning in OTN overhead; determining, by a circuit board, according to the real-time detected warning state and a mapping method of a data service, whether to insert, in a GFP channel, a GFP-CSF control frame; determining, by a circuit board, and according to the mapping method of the data service, whether to monitor for a GFP-CSF control frame in a demapping direction; determining, by a circuit board, and according to the detected port state and the GFP_CSF state in the demapping direction, whether to insert, in a GE port of a terminal router, a C1C2 fixed data stream; and when all of the real-time detected warnings are resolved, removing the C1C2 fixed data stream inserted at the data service port, to resume normal operations of the entire service channel. The embodiment of the invention is compatible to various data service encapsulations, does not have the problem of a service being unrecoverable owing to remaining in a closed loop after fault removal, and can be realized without implementing optical power detection for OCP, implementing duplex transmission and bidirectional protection to the router, and reducing costs. (Figure 1)
