Abstract

The present invention provides a pivot bearing manufacturing method, a pivot manufacturing method and a manufacturing device (21). The purpose of the present invention is to manufacture, in a short period of time, a plurality of pivot bearings (3) in which the generation of outgas has been reduced in a consistent manner. This pivot bearing manufacturing method includes: a bearing assembling step (S1) of assembling a bearing assembly (3') by arranging rolling bodies (15), with spaces therebetween in a circumferential direction, in an annular space (13) between an inner ring (9) and an outer ring (11), which are coaxially arranged with respect to each other, and injecting grease (17) into the annular space (13); a heating step (S2) of heating a group (P) of a plurality of the bearing assemblies (3?), which were assembled in the bearing assembling step (S1), in a vacuum state at a temperature higher than a prescribed target temperature; and a cooling step (S3) of cooling the group, which was heated in the heating step (S2), through convection of a gas.
